As the Queen of Customer Service, I always aim to make any guest stay in our home the very best it can be. Impressive, very impressive. The design of the mattress topper is stylish and chic. It has an anti-slip base and fits neatly in to place with 4 snug-fit corner straps. The overall impression is that this is a premium quality product and well worthy of its 5* online reviews. Exactly what was needed to revamp the weary looking mattress in our spare room. No wonder Simba calls it “a spare room saviour.” I can quite honestly say that I feel like we have a brand-new mattress, not just a topper. Marvellous!

The comfort boosting Simba Hybrid Mattress Topper has an innovative design. Its award-winning technology combines ‘up to 2,500 ingenious Aerocoilã springs and a layer of open cell Simbatex foam to keep you cooler’ and more comfortable. The topper is a good depth and feels really supportive and firm.
There are 5 sizes available; single, small double, double, king and superking, all of which have a removable washable cover for ease and convenience. The topper arrived vacuum packed and boxed. Despite the size it was fairly easy to unpack in the guest room ready for use. It fitted snuggly in to place and sits perfectly on the current mattress.

Lovely! One of the things I love about staying in hotels is a cosy duvet you can just snuggle in to and lose yourself in its folds for hours on end. The Simba Hybrid Duvet has brought the hotel to me and although a tad too crispy for His Lordship, I couldn’t be happier with it. Plus it’s really light and easy to handle and it came in a very neat storage bag.

The Simba Hybrid Duvet is undoubtedly a premium product with a price tag to match. Is it worth the extra money? Well, that depends on what you put more value on. The old duvet was goose down which has always been the go-to choose for duvets in our household. However, I was never really a fan so much prefer the Simba Hybrid Duvet for several reasons.
Top of my list are its environmental benefits. Simba products are designed to be sustainable and they are the first UK brand to be awarded certified B-corp status. This is only awarded to businesses that promote social and environmental change through how they work and operate.
Products are made in the UK from 100% sustainable materials. The packaging is 60% recycled and from approved FSC sources. Nothing is sent to landfill and all waste is recycled and repurposed into other products.
It’s more important than ever that we think more about our purchasing decisions and the impact they have on the environment. By choosing environmentally friendly products we can do our bit for the planet and I’d personally prefer to take the hit on the monetary cost if I can justify any extra expense.
Secondly living with MS means that quality of sleep is of paramount importance. I struggle to get comfortable and maintain a constant temperature at night. Both of which can keep me awake.
The ‘Simba Renew Bio fill’ combines softness and warmth with breathability. The clever temperature control technology would be a saving grace for me as it helps dissipate excess heat. I think I might be commandeering it for our bed or ordering another. It’s suitable for all year round use so less work. No need to keep chopping and changing duvets with the seasons.
Conclusion
Although the mattress topper and duvet are a bigger outlay than other brands, I am pleased with the Simba environmental credentials and the purchase experience was bang on the money. A zero-hassle order and delivery process, both topper and duvet arrived the next day, the tracking information was spot on and the quality of the mattress topper and duvet have surpassed expectations.
