When I first heard that I would be gifted a lovely new pair of CARAT London Amaia medium hoop earrings for review, my first thought was ‘Oooh I do hope I get the gold-plated ones.’ And what arrived…. sterling silver. But do you know what, they are just so lovely!
I’m not a fan of sterling silver, never have been. In fact, I don’t really wear much jewellery and am easily pleased with just my everyday earrings, wedding and engagement ring. However, I think I might just be a convert. Read on to find out why.
CARAT London Amaia medium hoop earrings
The CARAT London Amaia medium hoop earrings in sterling silver are well presented in a sleek and stylish box with silver branding. Luxury packaging always bodes well for what delight lies inside! I wasn’t disappointed on that score.
The stones are delicately cut and add a touch of sophisticated sparkle and classic chic to any outfit. They are what I need for my media appearances. When I wore them at an event this week I had so many compliments. The sparkle of the crystals even matches the diamond sparkle of my diamond engagement ring, the average cost of which is between £1850 and £2100. Wow!
I was really surprised at how light the earrings are and although I don’t think I could justify buying them for myself cost wise they are undoubtedly a special gift to give and to receive. Hoop and stud earrings are absolute jewellery box essentials. CARAT London’s collection of stud earrings for women is so impressive. The Zara Princess Martini studs in particular have just stolen my heart, they are so beautiful.
In summary Amaia medium hoop earrings are quite simply dainty and pretty accessory perfection. The earrings are part of CARAT London’s Chelsea Everyday Play range and they really do transform casual in to super smart. I’ve now got my eyes firmly set on the silver Vianne Round Prong Tennis Bracelet and the Cassidy ring with its elegant emerald cuts. These stunning pieces would be the perfect complement to the earrings.
What will you choose as your special gift?
