Are you trying to contact Amazon? It might be easy to place and order and pay but is it easy to get in touch when you have an issue? When you view your Amazon order history, options to contact Amazon are not immediately obvious. Instead there are other contact options such as ‘track package’ ‘return or replace items’ or ‘ write product review,’ There is no option to ‘contact seller’ or ‘contact us.’
Instead click on the ‘Customer Service’ tab in headings bar (see image below)
Once in the ‘Customer Service’ section of the website choose the item you wish to talk about. Then choose an option which relates to the issue you wish to discuss.
Alternatively to get to this point, search online for ‘Amazon Live Chat’
Click on the Amazon customer service option
Choose whatever you would like help with or ‘Something Else’ to contact Amazon Customer Service.
Choose the ‘contact us’ option
When the online ‘Chat with Amazon Customer Service’ box opens, type ‘speak to an assistant’
Choose option ‘Chat with an associate now’
If presented with a series of options (see image below) scroll down and click on the headset icon.
You should now be transferred to customer service. Although we would all like to pick up the phone and speak to a real person, it can be a stressful experience. Using Amazon Live Chat means there is also a transcript as evidence of conversation.
However if you do wish to contact Amazon Customer Service in the UK by telephone you can do so by calling 02070847911. You can also contact Amazon Customer Service by requesting a phone call through the website and clicking ‘call me now.’
