At last! The countdown is on!

The Spa at Hatherley Manor may have been around 18 months in the making but the good news is that there’s not much longer to wait!

I’ve been on tenterhooks about this for months and I couldn’t resist heading over to chat to the new Spa Manager Will Wellon about the eagerly anticipated opening of the new exclusive Spa at Hatherley Manor and find out how the preparations are going.

So ahead of my visit to the Spa, I’m thinking dressing gown, slippers, swimsuit, treatment, dip in pool and maybe a cheeky glass of bubbles at the champagne bar!

Hmm not quite; this time it was hardhat, luminous safety tabard and a cup of tea! But no matter, with the clock ticking down to launch, time was of the essence! I was there to find out more about the Spa and what it has to offer so anything else would just have to wait!

So what can we expect?

The Hotel is already famed for excellence and its standards of Customer Service are high. As such, expectations for the new state of the art £3million Spa are equally so.

I asked Will about how he feels the Hatherley Manor Spa will stand out from the existing tough competition in the Cotswolds. As well as maintaining the current levels of excellence and aiming to provide a first class customer experience from beginning to end, Will believes that the exclusivity of the Spa membership will be one of its great strengths.

The Spa at Hatherley Manor has been inspired by its cultural heritage and will offer a wide range of features including vitality pool, thermal suite with experience showers, ice fountain, sauna, steam room and the list just goes on and on. The Spa will have 6 beautifully spacious treatment rooms and a luxury relaxation room with in house products comprising of Elemis and Made for Life, the latter of which notably offers a range of Cancer Therapy Treatments.

If all this is not enough, then there will also be a state of the art gymnasium! To be honest, I’ve never really been one for working out but Will did let it slip that he used to do some personal training, so I might be tempted to change my mind on that one! 😉

When can we sign up?

Good news! The Spa is Hatherley Manor are now taking bookings from 7th May so if you’re quick you could be one of the very first to experience it!
