I would just love to be chauffeured from A to B in luxury and that’s exactly what my guest this week has to offer. From beauty treatments to VIP treatments, this week on the Saturday Spotlight I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to chat to Dave Barnes of DB Wedding Cars & Executive Travel!
Hi Dave, please tell me about your company and its history
We are a family owned business based at Royal Wootton Bassett, that since April 2017, have providing Executive / VIP chauffeur services in our licensed Jaguar XFS Portfolio. I frequently state that we are not a taxi, but provide a much higher standard that is described in the below summary I add to every quote I send out:
“We ensure your travel with us is safe (DBS checked), comfortable, legal and reliable so you can rest and relax in a clean and peaceful environment! We drive to not only advanced level but qualified at IAM Roadsmart Masters level.”
Over the past 12 months, we have consistently provided these exceptionally high standards to many clients, both of a private and business nature.
We regularly provide airport transfers to/from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Bristol, as well as frequently provide chauffeur services to London and many other destinations.
As our business name indicates, and as you will see on our website and media links, we have also developed a reputation in providing excellent wedding car services with our 2 Jaguars since July 2016.
Why is good customer service important?
Good customer service is the bare minimum and for us, we push for excellence and going beyond expectation – this drives loyalty and peace of mind and stress free travel for our clients.
How would you rate the quality of customer service you deliver and why?
As above we provide exceptionally high quality of customer service for the reasons stated. Also when I was working in corporate, I rarely had a good experience in the ‘back of cars’ and I endeavour to make sure that our clients really do want to come back to us and indeed, look forward to the journeys with us.
How do you deal with any complaints?
We have not yet had any complaints, but we would review the situation and treat them as learnings to improve and put in place procedures to reduce the risk in the future. We would also endeavour to heal the relationship with any client who might have a complaint with appropriate measures.
How do you encourage customer loyalty?
As mentioned about, this is down to the quality and reliability of the service we provide.

It has been really lovely to chat to Dave today! This is so the only way for me to travel and short of getting married again as once was quite enough, think a nice executive chauffeur driven trip to Heathrow is a fabulous plan! Could definitely do with a bit of sun after the recent Snowmaggeddon and 40 days and 40 nights of rain we’ve had here in the Cotswolds.
