In the 7 years we spent building our own home, I must have made thousands of design decisions. This is not something I find easy being a typical Libran so I found I needed a lot of help! Hi Tim and Kim, please tell me all about your company.

We are a small company that has been trading since 2007, we have a shop in Eastgate Street Gloucester and we sell all kinds of fabric, including dress fabrics, haberdashery, patterns. Our main focus is interiors and we have a huge choice of furnishing fabrics both in stock and to order. We offer a full making service for curtains and blind, a re-upholstery service, we sell carpets and flooring and offer a full commercial and domestic interior design service.

 

 

Why is good customer service important?

Customer service is very important to us, we want our customers to enjoy shopping with us we want them to feel that they can call us and ask questions if they are not sure what would be be the best solution for their home. We want to offer a friendly,old fashion, efficient service that they would happily recommend to family or friends.

How would you rate the quality of customer service you deliver and why?

Our service is based on the kind of service that I look for when I shop, I don’t want pushy sales people but I do want product knowledge and a friendly helpful person if and when I need them. I want to be acknowledged with a friendly hello and then left to browse. Most of our business comes from recommendations so I think we must be doing a good job.

 

 

How do you deal with any complaints?

If we have a complaint, and like all companies we sometimes do, we will do whatever it takes to put it right, until we can walk away and that customer is happy. That’s our aim- a happy customer.

How do you encourage customer loyalty?

Customer loyalty, we try and do the best for our customers at all times and if they need a lot of fabric we will try and get the best price for them that we can. We do have a lot of customers that use us time and again because we go that extra mile.
