It’s a very special week too because I am celebrating my first blogversary as Lady Janey was officially launched one year ago today! It’s time to pop some champagne corks so what better way to do so than with a celebration themed Saturday Spotlight!

Hi Anita, please tell me about your company and its history
Contemporary & Stylish, Classic & Elegant or Striking & Unusual, Anita B Cakes creates visually attractive & delicious works of art that will make your Celebration even more memorable.
When I started Anita B Cakes, after over 30yrs in the Catering & Hospitality Industry, it was my goal to ensure that every customer left with the confidence that their cake will exceed their expectation and that the professionalism, care & attention to detail will create for them a memorable cake for an unforgettable occasion.
After my own disastrous wedding cake the thought process of setting up my own cake business was planted in my mind and 7yrs later after lots of planning, saving, training and a leap of faith I achieved my goal and Anita B Cakes went into Business.
I now work from a purpose built cake studio in the peaceful village of Latton in Wiltshire where I transform my clients vision into cake.
Why is good customer service important?
Excellent customer service has been paramount in developing my business. It has not only enhanced my reputation but it has also brought referrals, repeat business and some great friendships, all of which provide my clients, both old and new, with confidence in the product they will receive.
How would you rate the quality of customer service you deliver and why?
The quality of Customer Service I offer is second to none, beginning with the initial enquiry through to delivery and all stages in between where my clients are assured of my personal attention at all times. Discussing ideas and drawing sketches, consultations and tastings, phone and email contact and to the presentation and set-up of their bespoke cake, I will always deliver exceptional Customer Service. As my business relies on word of mouth, referrals and repeat business to expand successfully it is of paramount importance that good customer service is exceeded on every order received.
How do you deal with any complaints?
I have not received any complaints since my business began operating in 2014.
How do you encourage customer loyalty?
At this present time loyalty schemes are not offered. However, my care and passion for detail, along with offering a friendly, professional service has led to many clients showing loyalty in their repeat business. This, I believe, speaks volumes to the level of customer service they receive.
